Loves It!

Raquel Zimmerman Shot By Mario Testino for Vogue. I thought the idea of the double message was genius. Don't you?

Deep down and Kinky

David Lynch, maverick US film director has collaborated with the French shoe designer Christian Louboutin to create Fetish.

For me, the shoe is the very essence of fetishism. While I absolutely love corsets, shoes are actually the closest thing to the dictionary definition of a fetish item, an item imbued with some magical, mystical power. A woman's high-heeled shoe transcends its function, it can exist as a sexual item in its own right, without a hint of a woman's foot.

Obviously , these aren't shoes that you can walk in. The heels are extremely high, stretching the leg and tensing the calf muscle beyond everyday practicality. But then fetishism isn't about the everyday is it? To model the shoes, Lynch had to recruit two dancers, Nouka and Baby, from the Crazy Horse (the famous strip club) revue in Paris. Only they had the poise and ability to model the shoes.  What do you think?

Fall's Favourite

Alexander McQueen - Inspired by British colonialism and regal triumphs, this darkly gothic creature look with huge backcombed hair, wearing head-to-toe shrink-wrapped black leather is a fashion fairytale unveiled.

Balenciaga - Ghesquiere used Spanish influences in which he finds his inspiration and made it his own for yet another season of stunning sculpted dresses, severe silhouettes, fabulous metallics and the signature futuristic look.

Christian Dior - BIG Geometric patterns, Big eyes and Gigantic hair with boxy suits, matching bags and short gloves transporting us back to the sixties, the era of the ever fabulous Bridgette Bardot.

Fendi - Lagerfeld showed an impressive new technological method of adding gold onto pelts of fur like mink and fox, teamed with black oversized cable-knit sweaters and dresses with wide waist belts that certainly did catch my eyes.

Lanvin - A Combination of Sexuality and Seduction, Alber ElBaz decided to grace us with a darker palette this season.

Peter Pilotto - The London - based designer, known for his inspiration of pop-art proved us all right with yet another show-stopping collection, filled with colors and clothes that looks like paint has been spilled all over.

Proenza Schouler - Chunky Colorful suede platform pumps and sleek delicate dresses in charcoal colors and neutrals folded in origami-fly shapes, the inspiration was clearly construction here.

Pucci -Known for it's Kaleidoscope of vibrant colors and patterns, this season, Emilio took his inspiration from a snow-filled climate. Full of Ice cream pink and jade green in phsycadellic prints on fur-trimmed parkas and metallic shoes.

Versace - Donatella's usual raw sexuality, combined with feminism makes every collection get better and better. With her use of leather, colorful fur and the sky-high kinky stiletto heels, she always keeps us wanting more....

Vivienne Westwood - Swaggering stilt walker, faces painted with flowers and cobwebs and a set of eye-catching prints looks like it's designed by literally a bunch of 7-year-olds, this would surely be the scene of a fashion disaster but when it's Vivienne Westwood, it's a glorious, outreageous celebration of fashion at it's best.
